“What’s behind that door? Why can’t I have a look?” Ariadne’s curiosity leads her to overcome the barriers of fear and ignore warnings of danger. The story of Bluebeard runs through European history as one of the stories that has remained in the imaginations of generations of young people. Deep down, the stories by Perrault and Maeterlink tell us of the search for
freedom so much desired by children. The music of Dukas, Bartók and Offenbach are the doorways to discovering diverse and colourful worlds of
sound.
